ReelHeART Spirit Award

The ReelHeART Spirit Award always goes to a Film or Filmmaker that Inspires, Engages and Brings Important Messages to a Worldwide Community, as well as a Memorable Contribution On Film.

This year, 2023, we met a very special Filmmaker who not only spoke about his film but other films and filmmakers that inspired him during Festival Week. His Q&A gave viewers ‘real world’ insight to what it still means to be a Gay Filmmaker in an unforgiving Hollywood, add to that a being a visible minority in the film business. Festival Organizers saw this enthusiastic ‘Proud Latin X’ Filmmaker, Actor at nearly Event and Film Premiere.
Please applaud this Filmmaker with the biggest HeART…
