ReelHeART Spirit Award

In Our 20th Anniversary of ReelHeART, we have a TIE

The ReelHeART Spirit Award always goes to a Film or Filmmaker that Inspires, Engages and Brings Important Messages to a Worldwide Community, as well as a Memorable Contribution On Film.

This year, 2024, we met a Filmmaker who not only spoke about  his love of ART by producing a short film filled with 2300 of his own drawings done with various mediums, but, also the inability to be recognized for his ART which he has loved creating since he was a child. Being somewhat shy, he came out of his shell and began collaborating with other like-minded people to create beauty and artistic expression. Please applaud this Filmmaker with the biggest heart for his dedication to his craft and his courage step out from the shadows to share his talent with the world despite initial obstacles. His story is a testament to the trans-formative power of art and the strength found in creative community.

Ghasem Ahmadi Bafandeh
All The Roads Reincarnated As One
Iran

Our 2nd ReelHEART Spirit Award goes to a Group of Filmmakers who, as the story goes, wanted to make a WWI Trench in order to build their Film Set. There was no place that would grant them permission to do such a thing. Finally,  one of the Filmmakers was granted permission by a very special individual in his life. His Grandmother!

She allowed the crew to dig up her back yard to make a full size trench because she wanted to support his creativity.

Merci grand-mère, on t’aime !
Please Congratulate these Filmmakers with all your HeART…
