About Colin McMurray

Colin McMurray & Associates Inc., Talent Agency – Our agency officially opened on August 7, 2006. The Toronto Agency represents actors, singers, and dancers for film, television, voice over, commercials and theatre. While we have talent working in mainstream productions, our agency proudly keeps our roster at a Boutique-size, allowing us better focus on our clients and talent. Colin McMurray – Colin is one of the most trusted agents in the massive filmmaking city of Toronto. As Founder and Chief Creative Agent at Colin McMurray & Associates, he has cultivated a unique and diverse roster of actors, singers and dancers who collectively have worked on stage and screen across the world.

Colin began working as an agent for The Talent House, under the direction of owner and theatre agent Bruce Dean.

After over a decade of managing many aspects of that agency, working as a commercial, voice-over, and youth film & television agent, he was hired as the Director of the talent department with Ford Talent Management. Colin managed their acting roster for several years before launching Colin McMurray & Associates in 2006. Colin is from Riverview, New Brunswick and studied Fine Art in London, ON.

About Kimberly Skyrme

Kimberly Skyrme – Director | Producer | Writer | Casting Director-CSA

Kimberly is a 30 year veteran in the Film and Television Industry. She entered the business as a Casting Director and is a proud member of the Casting Society of America. In addition to Casting she is a Director, Producer and Writer or in her words the short answer “A STORY TELLING ARTIST!”

Casting collaborations include: NETFLIX series House of Cards , STARZ series The Girlfriend Experience, Unsolved Mysteries; Deep Impact; Beloved; The Pelican Brief; True Lies; numerous Independent Feature Length and Short Films as well as Commercials and Government Projects include include Enfamil, McCormick, Washington Post, UMD-UC, Bud Light, FBI and DNI.

She is slated to direct, Metronome, The Retreat, as well as the Christmas in New England Trilogy. Additionally she recently completed Directing the Sizzle Reel for Metronome and “Proof of Concepts” shorts for Ward 8 and The Domesticators which are series in development.

Series development includes Free State of Yell, Big Moves, Now Leasing, Pottery, and Wayward Girls.

Her three decade old passion and dedication to the art of non traditional casting has earned her a stellar reputation in the industry. Kimberly’s acting, directing and writing studies are skills that enhance her ability to communicate the specific language used between actors and directors.

Kimberly frequently lectures, nationally and Internationally about The Casting Process, Independent Film Production, The state of Women in the Industry and the Collaboration of Writers, Directors and Casting Directors.
