ReelHeART Director Comment: I’m an atheist. Add to that I’m a cynic. So watching a film about religion better have a point. According to Ben Adams comes from one of my favorite filmmaking countries – Australia. There’s always some undertone that you find in Aussie films that give their films a sort of trademark. Dark (even in humor), quirky and grounded. Co-Director Bramwell Noah serves as writer and is also the lead. How he envisions his character as ‘the Devil’ is as mystifying and quirky as it gets. His ‘Devil’ is eccentric, idiosyncratic, unconventional and strange in the most oddly enchanting way. Ashton Kutcher look-alike- actor Daniel Schepisi who plays ‘Jesus’, stands up to the Devil only to be served a self-revelation that is a miracle unto itself as the answer was there all along…
