ReelHeART’s 2011 Poster is going to the printers! Stay tuned for city-wide sightings! All posters featuring ReelHeART will of course be affixed according to Chapter 693, ยง Article IV, sections 693-28 through 34 of the Toronto Municipal Code (it’s amazing the kind of emails you get when you post certain gigs on Craigslist).
ReelHeART’s 2011 Poster is Toronto’s first 2.0 Film Festival Poster. The poster is fully interactive with QR codes you can read with your hand held smart phone. Most Android, Nokia, and Blackberry phones come with QR code readers pre-installed. QR reader software is available for most mobile platforms. We use ScanLife for iPhone but you can also use Bakodo or RedLaser.
Love your poster, however did you incorporate elements from the poster from 2009? If memory serves me right, you used the original poster with a new layout?
Wow! Great memory indeed. Yes we used the 2009 artwork that was in landscape mode and added some real estate for QR codes and sponsors. We have another poster slated for mass printing as well, you’ll love the minimalist format!
Love the poster too, it’s a really unique design and I love seeing it around town. Are you guys going to have a “spot the poster” contest again this year?
